Lunchmeat VHS Magazine Issue #3

By Greg B.

lunchmeat3

That’s right, videovores! Another slab of Lunchmeat is ready to be devoured! We’ve stacked up this issue with reviews of cinematic obscurities such as Skullduggery, Mutant Hunt, Zombie Nightmare, The Black Room and lots of other buried gems just waiting to be unearthed! This issue also includes an interview with David A. Prior (Killer Workout, Sledgehammer), coverage of Richard Rubenstien’s Monsters and, of course, a crossword puzzle where you can win prizes. You read right: prizes!! Who doesn’t like those?

This ‘zine is just getting better and better. They are tightening up the layout, content and production values. The reviews (my favorite part) are done with tons of knowledge and love of the films themselves. I do have one nit-picking critique; the faded images behind the text can sometimes be hard to read. But if you are a fan of obscure cinema, especially that on the VHS tip, pick up this issue as well as any back issue you can get your hands on (both of the first two issues are sold out!). Once you get your hands on one issue, you will no doubt fork out the dough for a subscription. Come on issue #4!
