My friends and “Kings of all Cult Media” (my nickname for them) over at CouchCutter.com are at it again with their new horror and cult themed animated series Blarrg.

Blarrg follows the exploits of two delusional movie bloggers that constantly find themselves in situations rivaling the ridiculous movies they’ve grown up loving. And hating.

The show was created by David Anthony (producer / director of the viral iwrestledabearonce music video, “Tastes Like Kevin Bacon”) and features guest voices from James Bickert & Jett Bryant (“Dear God No!“). More guest voices are expected to be announced.

“We have made the cartoon that I’ve always wanted to see as a movie fan” said David “No flavor of the month, Hollywood bullshit… You won’t get half of the jokes here unless you are into these kinds of movies. Shit ranging from Dead Heat to El Topo but very rarely will you see any kind of ‘mainstream’ references.”

Season 1 is scheduled for 7 episodes, running from October to the end of November, followed by a Christmas Special. The official premiere date will be announced soon.
