Eli Roth to do “Thanksgiving” Feature Film

by on April 16, 2009

elirothAccording to MTV News, Eli Roth will be shooting a feature length film to Thanksgiving, his faux trailer of the same title that was included in 2007′s Tarantino/Rodriguez double feature, Grindhouse. Apparently he wants to piggyback the low-budget slasher flick on his upcoming, but super secret, science fiction blockbuster.

“The plan is this: I want to do a huge budget movie, but tack on three weeks to the end of it and shoot ‘Thanksgiving’,” he revealed. “I want to do an $80 million dollar movie, and then schedule three weeks at the end to quickly shoot a $5 million dollar movie.”

Roth took a little break from writing while filming Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds but is ready to get back on the ball with the yet unnamed project as well as Thankgiving, “the sickest, bloodiest, most violent slasher movie” EVER!
