German gore classic “The Burning Moon” gets DVD release

by on December 26, 2011

UNCUT. UNCENSORED. UNCONSCIONABLE.

Olaf Ittenbach’s shot-on-video classic cult splatter-fest is finally getting a R1 DVD release from Intervision Picture Corp. The Burning Moon stars Ittenbach as a junkie who babysits his younger sister by telling her horrible, gore-soaked bedtime stories; one is about a serial killer who slaughters an entire family and another concerns a violent rapist priest whose journey ends in a graphic decent into Hell. Intervision has also uncovered a 45 minute “making of” documentary that will be included in the disks extra features. Look for this nihilistic, depraved classic on DVD February 14, 2012… it would make a great Valentines Day gift for that special someone!
