“Thou Shalt Not Kill… Except” gets the high def treatment
What would you get if Josh Becker (Alien Apocalypse), Sheldon Lettich (Bloodsport), Scott Spiegel (Evil Dead II) and horror/cult movie legend Bruce Campbell sat down together to write a movie? You would get a kick-ass, balls out action movie full of awesome low-budget gore and violence where a squad of Vietnam vet Marines go after a killer cult who kidnapped one of their girlfriends! Made by the same animals who brought you Evil Dead I and II, Stryker’s War aka Thou Shalt Not Kill… Except, is a sought after cult film that was put out on DVD by Anchor Bay over a decade ago and has long been out of print and goes for a pretty penny both new and used.
But worry about that no longer. The good people over at Synapse Films have given it the royal high-definition treatment procured from the original camera negatives. The DVD/Blu-ray combo pack is going to be loaded with extra features (see below) and will feature a sweet reversible cover! Look for this awesomeness to hit the streets March 13, 2012, just in time to stuff a couple in your Easter basket!
