Two Aussie sexploitation documentaries coming to DVD

by on November 14, 2011

Australian exploitation filmmaker John D. Lamond is probably best know for his super sleazy slasher Nightmares aka Stage Fright but  sexploitation nerds will remember him from the light teen sex-comedy Felicity (1978) starring the yummy Glory Annen in the title role. But before those two feature films, he started his career directing sex documentaries. The first one Australia After Dark from 1975 is a mondo-style free-for-all exposing the seedy underbelly of the Land Down Under featuring strippers, hookers, devil worshippers and much more. The follow-up from 1978, The ABCs of Love and Sex, is a sexual study more along the lines of the German Schoolgirl Report series researching such subjects as lesbians, masturbation, rape fantasies and disco music… that’s right, disco music. Both of these titles are being released uncut and uncensored for the first time in America by Intervision Picture Corp. on January 31, 2012 on all region DVD.
